Experience the magic of Christmas with the Telford Centre on Saturday 18th November.
Enter an enchanted wonderland extravaganza with free entertainment throughout the centre all day.
Explore a magical day of activities and events across the centre from 11am. Come and meet our magical interactive Snow Lion as he roars into the centre, accompanied by the Red Queen.
Plus experience our Enchanted Forest, Snow Queen, Santa and Magical Snow Globe - all building up to The Centre’s magical light switch on at 5pm.
Signal 107 will be broadcasting throughout the day, making visitors aware of the day’s planned activities.
To mark the arrival of Christmas in Telford, the festive light display will be switched on at 5pm, in Sherwood Street by New Look and H&M.

Malinslee Christmas Lights Switch-On takes place on Friday 24 November between 3pm and 6pm.
The lights will be switched on by the Mayor of Great Dawley at Malinslee Centre, Brunel Road.
The event will include a Street Fayre, Face painting and Mascots. There will also be a Community Stage and Music along with Community Stalls.
Santa will be dropping in during the event with fireworks at 6pm.
A procession on the Friday at 6pm from the Guildhall to St Nicholas Church will start will start an evening of events in Newport. Starting with the Christmas Lights switch on by the Christmas Card Competition winner. This will be followed by a festive sing-a-long in the church accompanied by the Salvation Army.
Nova FM will be providing Live Entertainment on The Buttercross from 4pm with live acts and games!
Another important part of the evening is the Newport Tree of Light. The Rotary Club of Newport in association with Newport Town Council, The Newport Advertiser and St. Nicholas’ Church, run this initiative to give local people the opportunity to remember a loved one, while at the same time raising money for Charity. The Tree of Light will be erected in the flower bed opposite Adams Grammar School.
After the Christmas Lights ceremony will be the St Nicholas Fair, located in Lower Bar and due to end around 9pm. Children's rides just £1.

Wellington Christmas Lights Switch On and Christmas Market
Wellington Christmas Market starts at 10am with live music and entertainment from 3pm on Saturday 25 November. The Mayor of Wellington will launch the event followed by performances from Wellington Brass Band and other performances in the Market Square.
The grand switch on will take place along with Christmas music.
Ironbridge Christmas Light Switch-On
Get into the festive spirit with live entertainment from 5.30pm, a visit from Santa at 6pm.
Madeley Christmas Lights switch on will be held on Saturday 25 November from 2-7pm.
The family event which will include a Christmas Market for all those special gifts and stocking fillers, Street Entertainment, Children’s Fairground Rides, Hot Food, FREE Children’s Craft Activities in the Anstice Ballroom, Singing and Dancing from local school children and of course Santa in his special grotto.
The festive lights ‘switch-on’ we be around 6pm.

Oakengates will be hosting its annual festive market and light switch on! The market will start from 9am, with lots of local stalls selling craft, food and gifts. Why not do a spot of Christmas shopping? From 12.30 pm, there will be live entertainment on the stage with local bands and performers. The Christmas lights will be switched on at 5.30pm. Santa will also be in the town! Bring the family for a great day out!

Dawley Christmas Lights are to be switched on by the Mayor of Great Dawley on Friday 1 December.
Events will take place from 3pm to 6pm including love music, community stalls and a visit from Santa.
Events take place at the Bandstand, Dawley High Street and Christian Centre.
The St Georges Christmas Light Switch on starts at 4pm and the lights will be switched on at 6.30 pm. There will be bands, rides for the children and stalls and children from St Georges Primary School will be singing at the event, also making an appearance are F1-11, Lisa Stevens, Jac Cassidy, The Jade Choir/Singers,there will be Stalls, Fairground rides and hopefully Santa will be making an appearance!!

Lightmoore village will be celebrating all that is Christmas at their annual Christmas Celebration including their Christmas Light Switch on, mini fair rides and fireworks. The Christmas festivities begin at 5pm.
