The seasonal skating sessions are set to explore children’s dreams and imaginations when they are given the opportunity to meet and glide around the ice with Santa himself.
The unforgettable experience includes a meet and greet with the big man, photo opportunities, arts and crafts and not to mention – children can write their very own letter to Santa.
Santa Skate will see even more improvements this year, including an elf workshop. Families and children can partake in arts and crafts in the themed workshop adjacent from the ice rink, and post their letters to Santa through the exclusive post box.
The festive surprises continue as families will walk through an enchanted entrance at Telford Ice Rink from 24 November and on selected Santa Skate dates running up to Christmas; they will have plenty of magical photo opportunities to cherish.
The festive fun begins from the 24 November right through to 24 December; to pre book tickets online and to jump the queue visit the website.
Councillor John Minor, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Green Spaces and Parks, said: “The team at Telford Ice Rink can’t wait to host Santa Skate again this year, particularly with even more festive surprises to enjoy.
“The session appeals to children of all ages and abilities, there’s skating aids on the pad to assist beginners on ice – or Santa himself to help! It really is a family occasion for all, and a perfect winter setting to get children excited for Christmas.”
