Our mission is to work with and for older people to improve the quality of later life. Our mission statement is underpinned by key principles which set out the sort of organisation that we want to be.
We aim to:
We involve volunteers in almost all the services we provide. We believe volunteers improve and expand the services we offer to local older people and enable us to achieve a great deal more than would otherwise be possible. We provide training and reimburse agreed expenses.
Our current opportunities include Befriender, Day Centre Helpers, Fundraising Volunteers, Lunch Club Organiser, St Georges - Day Centre Organiser, Telephone Buddy, Wellington - Retail Assistant, Wellington - Van Driver's Assistant, Dawley - Day Centre Helper, Donnington - Day Centre Helper, Wellington - Van Driver, Dawley - Day Centre Organiser, Wellington - Day Centre Deputy Organiser and Wellington - Arts and Crafts Co-ordinator.
